This is my first star party with Jakarta Amateur Astronomy Society and my best friend, Hafid. And everything started of our determination to visit IPB but we didn’t know where IPB’s location. This star party held on April 12-13, 2011. We graduated from Junior High School, so that we didn’t know the universities’s location, especially IPB.
After we attended HAAJ’s routine meeting on April 2, 2011, we really interested to follow “Star Party I” for public. So, on April 13 we decided to got there seriously. I picked hafid up in his home. We went there by train with our smoothness. Arrived Bogor Station, we tried to ask whoever there. We continued our trip by public transportation. And… we are really lucky!! We met one of senior “Jakarta Amateur Astronomy Society”. Ohh..thanks God. Arrived there, we followed instruction by leader of Jakarta Amateur Astronomy Society.
We are really disappointed to the weather. The weather was cloudy. Finally, we assembled in Gymnasium IPB to “telescope introduction”. The next day, we observed the sun and venus. But, when we would got back to Jakarta, we got trouble! We lost our money!! Oh God..we didn’t know what to do. But, God sent an Angel fo us. The leader of FOSCA(Forum Of Scientist teenagers) paid for our cost. What an embarrassed experience -,-
